ReplyDeletei was about to write something, but then I noticed the "Close Guantanamo Now" ad to the right, checked it out, found out there have only been a total of 700 people ever in Guantanamo, and then remembered that i don't care about this at all.
seriously, why would you make a headline that said "700 people have been put through guantanamo over the course of time". That's a retardedly small number and makes me not even care about the morals of the situation...
some people would be like, james, it's not about how many people get tortured, it's about the fact that we torture. I understand the argument, but really shitty things happen to people in really shitty situations, and torture is just one of them, and the numbers are telling me my energy would be better spent somewhere else. Yay, the fucking constitution is restored... I'm just glad Obama didn't waste too much time on it.
